Common questions

How do I change how I'm cast in a book?

Open the book and tap the casting option at the top. Change any detail and the text re-renders immediately. You can also read any book exactly as the author wrote it — the original is always one tap away.

Can I read a book as it was written?

Yes. Personalization never overwrites the author's text; switching it off restores the original wording.

I bought the library. Why is a book still locked?

Try Restore Purchases in the app's settings. If it still does not unlock, email us with the account you purchased from and we will sort it out.

What happens to my books if I cancel a subscription?

Novels included in the one-time library purchase remain yours. Access to books provided through the subscription ends when the subscription lapses; resubscribing restores access.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The library is stored on your device and reads with no signal.

Does anything I type leave my phone?

No. See the privacy policy.

Something is wrong in a book

If you find a typo, a name that renders oddly, or anything that reads wrong, email us the book title and roughly where it happens. Every report gets looked at by hand.
